Role Overview

AJR Media Group is seeking an Audience Growth & Marketing Manager to own and grow the email marketing, subscriber acquisition, analytics, and audience reporting programs for Tour Texas and Tour Louisiana. Following the company’s migration to DotDigital, this role will help turn a stronger email and audience platform into a scalable growth engine for both brands and a more valuable product for clients.
This is a growth-focused role for someone who can manage day-to-day execution while also building the systems, reporting, and strategies needed to expand audience engagement over time.

Key Responsibilities

Own the strategic and day-to-day management of DotDigital for Tour Texas and Tour Louisiana, including newsletters, SMS campaigns, segmentation, automations, workflows, and testing.
Develop and execute subscriber growth strategies across paid and organic channels, including acquisition campaigns, audience tagging, list health, and performance tracking.

Serve as the team’s GA4 and analytics lead, maintaining tracking accuracy, building dashboards, and translating performance data into clear recommendations.
Create a standardized client reporting structure for newsletter placements, helping turn audience performance into a consistent client-facing deliverable.

Collaborate with the Communications & Creative Manager to ensure content created for email, social media, website, and AJR marketing channels works together as part of a broader distribution system.
Identify opportunities to better use DotDigital, audience data, and campaign performance insights to support brand growth, client proposals, and renewals.

Ideal Candidate

• Experienced in email marketing strategy, execution, platform management, and audience growth.
• Comfortable working in DotDigital; hands-on experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledgeable in GA4 and able to connect analytics to meaningful business decisions.
• Experienced with paid digital campaigns, especially for subscriber or audience acquisition.
• Strong communicator who can collaborate across teams and help package insights for clients.
• Self-directed, organized, and comfortable building processes in an ever-evolving tourism marketing environment.
• Background in digital publishing, media, tourism marketing, or destination marketing is a plus.
